Clifton Gunderson, which provides tax, consulting and assurance services, named Charles T. Smith III partner for the firm’s Richmond office.
Smith, who joined Clifton Gunderson in 1995, has 16 years of public accounting experience. He is one of nine new partners recently admitted to the Richmond firm.
Smith specializes in compliance auditing, including audits of health care providers with an emphasis on Medicaid and Medicare regulation compliance and reimbursement issues.
Clifton Gunderson, based in the Midwest, employs more than 1,800 in 47 offices nationwide.
