CACI International Inc. has received a $78 million contract to modernize IT systems in the U.S. Air Force Office of the Civil Engineer’s NexGen IT program.
The Air Force’s Civil Engineering team ensures that Air Force buildings, structures and utilities are maintained and combat ready. The NexGen IT enterprise transformation program is designed to improve Civil Engineer’s productivity and provide real-time data needed to manage Air Force resources.
Under the contract, Arlington-based CACI will modernize Air Force Civil Engineer systems in 15 functional areas, including real estate and housing management.
The contract has a one-year base period with four option years and is new business for CACI. The contract will expand the company’s capabilities in enterprise IT and broaden its expertise in government transformation and IT modernization.
