Blue Ridge Networks in Chantilly announced the appointment Wednesday of Jerry Edgerton as president of its Government Group. Edgerton has more than 30 year’s experience in information technology (IT) adoption and implementation in government agencies. He will be responsible for expanding and growing Blue Ridge’s federal business.
Blue Ridge Networks provides cyber-security solutions to government and commercial enterprises. Edgerton led MCI’s federal division for 20 years and served as president of Verizon Federal after the companies merged. Most recently, Edgerton served as president of government markets at Core180.
