Ric Edelman, chairman and CEO of Edelman Financial Services based in Fairfax County, has been named Virginia’s No. 1 financial advisor by Barron’s in its “2013 Top Advisors Rankings by State.” This marks the fourth consecutive year that Edelman received the top state’s honor. Barron’s has also ranked Edelman the top independent financial advisor in the nation three times in the past four years. Edelman Financial Services has 32 officers serving nearly 19,000 clients across in the nation. Its Virginia offices are in Alexandria, Ashburn, Fairfax, Tysons Corner and Richmond.
