American Systems, a Chantilly-based provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, has named Christine Braccio as vice president of human resources (HR). Braccio will oversee all strategic employee initiatives including talent management, compensation, benefits and HR information systems. In addition, she will lead the company’s charitable giving and scholarship programs.
Braccio joined American Systems in 2007 as director of HR operations. During that time, she directed compensation programs for the company’s 1,300 employees among other responsibilities. Before joining the company with more than 25 years of experience, she held senior HR leadership roles at World Kitchen, StarBand Communications, and Sunrise Assisted Living.
