Advance Auto Parts Inc. is promoting Markus Hockenson to senior vice president, store operations.
Hockenson will provide strategic direction for the company’s Midwestern operations, which includes more than 1,200 stores.
Hockenson joined Advance in September 2008 as regional vice president. He was previously with Starbucks where he had region-wide responsibility for project management of company programs and held other positions include district manager. He also held many positions at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
