Charlottesville Business Park LLC, under the
direction of developer Keith Woodard, bought McIntire
Business Park in Charlottesville for $10 million.
The 10-acre, 153,000-square-foot site has 80 commercial
tenants and seven residential apartments. Possibilities
will be explored for expanding mixed-use development

Creative Office Environments purchased Enterchange
at Northlake, Building B in Ashland from Devon
USA for $6.4 million. Creative moved its headquarters
to the 81,000-square-foot industrial building on North
Lakeridge Parkway. (News release)
First Potomac Realty Trust undertook
a 100,000-square-foot addition to Bay Warehouse in
Chesapeake’s Cavalier Industrial
Park. When completed, the addition will give the
Class A office/warehouse a total of 400,000 square feet. (News

Chesterfield Towne Center’s
United Artists movie theater in Richmond will be demolished
to make way for a state-of-the-art Barnes & Noble
bookstore in 2008. The theater site, unsuitable for upgrading
to such features as stadium seating and larger screens,
