firm, bought Highland Hospitality Corp., a
McLean real estate investment trust for hotel and resort
properties, in a $2 billion deal. The transaction, done
through JER Partners Acquisitions IV LLC, includes
assumption of $260 million of

acquired SRS Technologies Inc. of Newport Beach, Calif.
SRS specializes in a number of high-end technical areas
