The Art Museum of Western Virginia awarded Centex
Construction, a Fairfax-based contractor, work
on the $40.5 million, 81,000-square-foot art museum
to be built in downtown Roanoke. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2008. In addition, Brandywine
Realty Trust of Falls
Church selected Centex to provide preconstruction
and general contracting services for South Lake
at Dulles Corner, a $35 million office-building
complex in Herndon. The 10-story, 282,650-square-foot

as exclusive leasing agent for Monroe Mall, a 385,000-square-foot
shopping complex in Monroe, N.C.,

a Radford-based drug developer, entered into a manufacturing
agreement
with Organichem Corp. of Rensselaer, N.Y. to produce New
River's first drug, once it receives final approval
form the Food and Drug Administration. The drug is
meant to treat children with attention-deficit hyperactivity

Beach marketing and communications firm, will develop
a domestic and international branding campaign for
Asahi Glass Co. Ltd. of Tokyo.
The campaign, including Web site development and advertisements,
