Charlottesville-based energy company, was sold to
BP Alternative Energy for
$98 million. Greenlight owns a number of wind-power
projects in 15 states. Greenlight's portfolio was attractive
to BP, which focuses on alternative energy sources

Performance Fibers Inc., a producer of man-made
industrial fibers and fabrics headquartered in Richmond,
bought INVISTA Resins & Fibers GmbH's German polyester
yarn business. The move is Performance's third major
expansion in the past year in a continuing focus to
