AirTran Airways of Orlando, Fla., signed on as a sponsor of the Jamestown 2007 celebration,
pledging more than $550,000 in cash and services. The
company will pay $300,000 in cash and donate $250,000
worth of plane tickets, plus an unspecified amount

Amerigroup Inc., a Virginia Beach-based provider
of managed-health-care services through Medicaid and
similar government programs, secured a contract to
serve 170,000 residents of middle Tennessee.
The company has been interested in the state for some
time and is expected to bid on managed care contracts
in eastern and western Tennessee when those contracts become available. (The Virginian-Pilot)
BCF, an advertising agency headquartered in Virginia
Beach, was selected as agency of record for the Virginia
Tourism Corp. Under the $3 million account, BCF
will create advertising campaigns and media planning
to leverage Virginia's
