The St. Joe Co., a Jacksonville, Fla. real
estate firm, bought the 150 West Main office building
in Norfolk from 100 Main Street LLC for $50.5
million. The 20-story, 225,237-square-foot building
was 93 percent leased at the time of the purchase.
The price paid per square foot -- $224 - is the highest
for a Norfolk office property to date. (The Virginian-Pilot)
U.S. Air Force leased 72,365 square feet of
office space in the Hampton Roads Research Quad,
Building III which is scheduled for completion in October.
The Research Quad office park is one mile from Langley

Virginia bought a 1,100-acre section of land
in Stafford County known as Widewater for $6.1
million. The land, which has two miles of frontage
on the Potomac River and Aquia Creek, will become a
new state park. (Press release)
