The Bank of McKenney is celebrating its 100th year
in 2006. The bank was founded as the Bank of Dinwiddie
on June 5, 1906. The name was changed to the Bank of
McKenney in 1957. Today it has six branches and assets
of $144 million.
CarMax Inc., a Richmond-based retailer of used
cars, and SRA International Inc., a Fairfax
technology company, made Fortune magazine's
latest list of the "100 Best Companies to Work For." SRA
made the list for the seventh consecutive year, and

of the Year from the Virginia Minority Supplier Development

a row to Food Logistics magazine's "Top 100
Technology Solutions." Insight won for providing competitive

Mark Loftis, principal in the Roanoke office
of Wood Rogers PLC, was elected president of
the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. Loftis,
chair of the firm's litigation section, received his

Philip Morris USA, a Richmond cigarette manufacturer,
donated $2.2 million toward the combined fund-raising
campaign of Virginia Commonwealth University's
schools of business and engineering. Each school will
receive $1 million, and the engineering school will
