Capital One Financial Corp., a financial services
company headquartered in McLean, cut 384 jobs in Henrico
County. The cuts are part of 750 layoffs announced
last fall. The Richmond operations were to lose 490
positions but attrition made up the difference. The
remainder of the announced job cuts will be in Washington

Cruise line companies Celebrity Cruises and Radisson
Seven Seas will not sail from Norfolk in 2006.
Celebrity Cruises sold its ship, Horizon, to Island
Cruises of Britain, and the Radisson Seven Seas Navigator
was assigned to replace another vessel in Europe.
Holland America and Carnival Cruise Lines will continue

US Airways Inc. of Arlington laid off 34 ramp
workers at Richmond International Airport in
a move long-expected as part of the airline's restructuring
under bankruptcy. US Airways will replace a total of
600 ramp jobs at 26 airports through outsourcing. Jetstream
Ground Services of West Palm Beach, Fla. will take
