For the second year in a row, Richmond
real estate broker Charlie Polk beat out brokers from
larger markets to capture the companywide 2004 top producer
award for Advantis/GVA. The commercial real estate services
company employs 175 agents in 14 markets throughout
the Southeast, including Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
The top award is based on gross dollar
production. Polk’s sales and lease transactions
exceeded $88 million, and he brokered more than a million
square feet of space. “He has developed a number
of key relationships for us including Saxon Mortgage,
The Timmons Group, Chevy Chase Land Co., VCU Health
System, Charter One Mortgage and Swedish Match,”
says Jamie Thomas, senior director of Advantis/GVA’s
Rich-mond firm.
Polk has been with the company for more than 16 years.
