Virginia creates new Web portal

When it comes to starting and running
a business, it's impossible to get too much information.
That's why Virginia officials recently
created a new Web site that gets straight to the point
about doing business in the commonwealth.The portal,
located at www.business.virginia.gov,
consolidates information about various business assistance
and support services, including grants, loans, work force
training and licensing.
It also offers a live chat feature
that gives businesses the ability to communicate in real-time
with the Virginia Business Information Center.The site
is organized to highlight the four main categories of
information routinely requested by business owners: starting
a business, running it, finding resources and contacting
out-of-state companies.
