Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield will offer
a Medicare PPO service in Gloucester and Mathews counties
and in Richmond. The Anthem product will cover route
physical exams and offer limited prescription drug

financial information on nonprofit organizations, expanded
its database of groups to include all 1.5 million tax-exempt
organizations in the IRS master database. Basic information
is available for free but detailed data is provided

New River Pharmaceuticals, a Radford drug company,
developed a safer version of hydrocodone, a narcotic
painkiller and cough suppressant. The company believes
its product, working name NRP290, will be less prone
to abuse than hydrocodone, which is a controlled substance. (The
