BAI staff personnel have extensive experience within key federal agencies like the DOS, CIA, OSD, JCS, as well as all branches of the military. BAI has Top Secret security clearance proficiency in all aspects of arms control policy development, negotiation, implementation, monitoring, and compliance analysis. Their expertise includes the START Treaties, INF, ABM, CWC, CTBT, CFE, Vienna Convention, MTCR and BW, as well as theater and strategic nuclear operations, strategic force and weapons program analysis, security policy and program support, and systems management and analysis. BAI personnel have advanced degrees in a wide range of disciplines, including mechanics, nuclear physics, systems management, information management, international relations, and international law.

BAI’s Management Team

The Chief Executive Officer is D. M. Williams, Jr., a Hispanic American and former Navy Rear Admiral, who has managed a worldwide organization of approximately 2000 people with a budget in excess of $200M responsible for major investigations, physical and information security policy and counter-intelligence within the Department of the Navy. The Chief Financial Officer is John T. Hardenbergh who is an experienced project manager of arms control support contracts, and who also served as the financial manager of a medium-sized company in the arms control support business sector.

Along with its Alexandria location, BAI also has offices in Kings Bay and Glynco, Georgia, that provide facility-wide network help desk and administrative support to Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
