Circuit City Stores Inc., a Richmond-based retailer of consumer electronics, introduced an incentive program for repeat customers making purchases at Circuit City, or elsewhere, using a Circuit City Visa card. Customers will earn points toward reward certificates the more they use the card. Circuit City's chief rival, Best Buy of Minneapolis, Minn., unveiled its "Reward Zone" program in July 2003. Elizabeth A. "Betsy" Duke, executive vice president of SouthTrust Bank in Virginia Beach, was elected chairwoman of the American Bankers Association. Duke is the first chairwoman in the history of the ABA. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
