Premier Community Bankshares of Winchester plans to open a new bank named Premier Bank of West Virginia with offices in Jefferson and Berkeley counties in West Virginia. (08/19/03, PR Newswire)

Norfolk Southern Railway Co., established a new Thoroughbred Bulk Transfer terminal at Fayetteville, N.C., allowing shippers to extend their distribution and terminal options into eastern North Carolina and South Carolina. (08/14/03, PR Newswire)

Sunshine Mills Inc., a Red Bay, Ala.-based manufacturer of dog and cat food, plans to invest $2.5 million to expand its Halifax County facilty with the construction of a 50,000-squre-foot manufacturing area, creating 40 jobs.
