VCU's
Real Estate Circle of Excellence was formed to create
collaboration between the business community and the
Real Estate Program. Members are commercial and residential
real estate related professionals such as contractors,
developers, appraisers, attorneys, brokers, title insurance
lenders, and mortgage brokers.
The group works to strengthen the program by raising
money through the annual Real Estate Trends conference,
serving guest lecturers, and providing advice on curriculum
content and structure among other things.
"I
have a vested interest in doing all I can to help the
VCU Real Estate program maintain its standards of excellence,"
says Kyle Woolfolk, Circle of Excellence member and
president of Woolfolk Companies. "Every graduate
they produce makes our entire industry better. And for
me personally, I like helping to generate scholarship
for deserving students who might otherwise not be able
to attend the program."
