VCU Real Estate Circle of Excellence announces new officers

The Real Estate program at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business has announced new officers for its Real Estate Circle of Excellence. This group of real estate and mortgage lending executives provides advice on the quality and relevance of the Real Estate Program’s educational and research programs, offers student internships and scholarships and organizes the annual VCU Real Estate Trends Conference.
The new officers are:
Susan F. Dewey, executive director, Virginia Housing Development Authority, President
Gloria L. Freye, partner, McGuire Woods, LLP, President elect
Paul W. Kreckman, vice president, Highwoods Properties, vice president
David Williams, managing director, Grubb & Ellis/Harrison & Bates,secretary/treasurer
Bruce A. Kay, vice president, Markel Corp., immediate past president
. VCU is the only university in the state with a bachelor’s degree in real estate.
