A Central Virginia interior design and architecture firm snagged an Interior Design Excellence Award for renovating the Snagajob headquarters in Richmond.
Baskervill received first place at the 2012 Interior Design Excellence Awards held in Richmond earlier this month. The awards were hosted by the International Interior Design Association.
Team members accepted the first place award in the category of corporate buildings over 35,000 square feet, a joint award from IIDA and ASID for the Virginia/West Virginia Chapter.
Snagajob headquarters is a renovation of an existing 65,000-square-foot space in the Innsbrook office park. Baskervill’s scope of work for the project included full interior design, space planning, custom furniture, and specialty features. The building’s unique design reflects the culture, creativity, and camaraderie of Snagajob employees.
“This was truly a team-generated project,” said Susan Orange, CID, director of workplace strategies in a statement. “The synergy of the internal team allowed for creative ideas to be generated, deliberated and developed. The partnership with the client, Snagajob, was without limits. They trusted us to create a unique space and provided all access to their culture and work styles so that we all came away with an amazing result.”
