Ken Silva to head cyber strategy for ManTech

ManTech International Corp. in Fairfax has named Ken Silva senior vice president for cyber of its Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions (MCTS) group.
Silva will develop and implement ManTech’s cyber strategy across markets and technologies, reporting to L. William Varner, president and COO of the MCTS group.
Most recently, Silva was senior executive adviser for cyber technologies at Booz Allen Hamilton. Before that, he spent ten years at VeriSign, where he was senior vice president and chief technology officer and was named one of InfoWorld’s Top 25 CTO’s for 2009. In addition to work in the private sector, Silva spent nine years as a technical director at the National Security Agency and eleven years as a senior analyst with the United States Air Force.
