Iron Bow Technologies has received a contract valued at $425 million to provide network, storage and server technologies to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The five-year award is the Chantilly-based company’s first primary contract with the FAA.
The FAA’s SAVES (Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Equipment and Supplies) contracts are a group of agency-wide contracts managed by the FAA. This award is one of five IT contracts under the program used to standardize technology, consolidate buying activities and facilitate IT investments.
“This is our first opportunity to serve the FAA on a prime contract, and we are extremely proud to support an organization that has achieved such unprecedented operational excellence in safety and innovation,” Rene LaVigne, president and CEO for Iron Bow, said in a statement.
