Hugh M. Fain installed as president of Virginia Bar Association

Hugh M. Fain III of Richmond has been installed at the 124th president of the Virginia Bar Association.
The VBA also elected Thomas R. Bagby of Roanoke as president-elect at the association’s 122nd Annual Meeting in Williamsburg.
Fain is a shareholder in the litigation section at Spotts Fain PC in Richmond and is the firm’s managing director. A member of the VBA since 1986, he has served as a member and chair of the board of governors and as president-elect. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Bagby serves as president of Woods Rogers PLC in Roanoke and also as chairman of the firm’s labor and employment law He has served as chair of the VBA’s Labor Relations and Employment Law Section and as chair of the board of governorsHe received his law degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
The VBA is the largest voluntary bar association in Virginia
