Meeting and Conference Destinations:
Staunton

Queen city of the Shenandoah Valley
Step back into time in Staunton, one of the best architecturally preserved towns in the stunning Shenandoah Valley. Surviving the Civil War unscathed, the town offers some of most intact buildings from 17th and 18th centuries. The town features 549 rooms for your conference guests and an abundance of must-see sites.

On their breaks, guests can stroll through one of the town’s five historic districts, from 18th and 19th century homes in the Newtown district and Victorian buildings from the “boom” years of the city between 1870 and 1920.

Guests can also enjoy the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library located at his birthplace. The Frontier Culture museum offers living history exhibits of the agricultural heritage of the U.S., with farms from Germany, Northern Ireland and England, and Botetourt and Rockingham counties in Virginia. Staunton also offers a re-creation of the Shakespeare’s first indoor theater, Blackfriars Playhouse, located at the American Shakespeare Center. The center features many plays from Shakespeare and other artists.

Located conveniently near the intersection of Interstates 81 and 64, Staunton offers a perfect getaway for your meeting or conference in a historic setting, near the natural beauty of the Shenandoah.
