Hold your meeting or conference against the backdrop
of a 22,000-acre lake. The Mariners Landing Resort and
Conference Center in Southwest Virginia includes 7,500
square feet of meeting space in three connected buildings.
All feature a magnificent view of Smith Mountain Lake.
The resort’s flexible meeting space can hold
up to 250 people, and 150 people can fit into the largest
room when arranged in a banquet-style setting. The rooms
offer high-tech audiovisual equipment and high-speed
Internet throughout the conference center. The resort
recently opened a new building, with 40 brand-new condominiums
and 4,000 square feet of meeting space.
The resort offers 155 condominiums. The rooms offer
fully equipped kitchens, decks with mountain and lake
views, washers and dryers, satellite televisions and
gas-log fireplaces.
A conference at Mariners Landing will be a refreshing
retreat from stresses back home. Conference goers will
have plenty of exploring to do on their free time. Guests
can play on the resort’s par-72 golf course, which
was designed by Robert Trent Jones. They can also relax
at the resort’s Spaaahh, swim in three pools,
stay fit at the tennis courts, walking trails or fitness
centers, ride horses or relax at the private swimming
beach. The award-winning Pointe Restaurant offers fine
dining with spectacular views of the lake.
Mariners Landing’s location also gives guests
easy access to many activities at and near Smith Mountain
Lake, including Virginia Dare cruises, five wineries,
the Booker T. Washington National Monument, the D-Day
Memorial in Bedford and Bridgewater Plaza’s shops
and restaurants.

can be customized for each event, and a convenient airport
shuttle brings guests to the resort. The largest ballroom
can seat 500 people for a banquet and 600 in a theater-style

Wintergreen offers spacious, com¬fortable accommodations
with more than 300 studios, mountain villas and condominiums.
They range up to seven-bedroom homes with fully equipped

Wintergreen’s natural setting means nonstop
activity for any downtime during the conference. The
resort offers snowboarding and tubing on the mountain,
an award-winning tennis program, a spa and fitness center,
four restaurants, six swimming pools, a 20-acre lake

The resort features 45 holes of championship golf at
two golf courses. The Devils Knob Golf Course is the
highest golf course in the state at 3,850 feet above
sea level. Stoney Creek Golf Course is a year-round
golf course with 27 holes.
